Located in the west end of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Nativity Lutheran Early Childhood Education Center is a non-profit, Christian center with highly experienced, certified teachers.  Our staff turnover is very low, with some teachers working at Nativity for 20 years or more.

Our goals are to work in cooperation with families to provide quality educational experiences and nurturing daily care in a secure, loving, Christian environment; and to guide the emotional, cognitive, physical, spiritual and social development of the children by providing age-appropriate experiences.

NLECEC participates in the Keystone STARS Program. We are licensed as a private academic preschool by the Pennsylvania State Department of Education and as a full daycare center by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. We participate in the Keystone STARS Program and currently are proud of our STAR 2 rating.  HOWEVER, in September of 2011 we're hoping to move up a level to STAR 3!  Wish us luck as we strive for Continuous Quality Improvement.

We are open from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  We are a Church affiliated learning center.  Our curriculum is age-appropriate, and includes field trips and special events that enhance the programs.The Child Development Center provides a variety of programs for children ages 3 through 11. In addition to our preschool classes for children ages 3, 4, and 5, we also offer before and after school programs for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. During the summer months, a full day/full week "Summer Fun" program is available for all children ages 3 to 11.

Our program includes snack and a nutritious hot lunch provided by a food service company.
